BB HALFWIT AND MARCUS FACE BOOT

Halfwit and Marcus will face the boot from the Big Brother house this week.

Following a spate of rule breaking by housemates, Big Brother decided to allow a free discussion of nominations until further notice.

As they got used to the new rules, housemates began to form alliances and decide between them who they would nominate.

Marcus told the house that he would like to be up for Friday’s eviction, as did David.

But Bea chided David for announcing this to the house, saying he did not really mean it.

As Siavash, Halfwit and Marcus went into the garden, Siavash said: “Let’s get strategic.”

The plotting then began in earnest.

The results were formally being announced live to the house on Big Brother’s Little Brother, at 6pm on E4.

However, housemates have already worked out who is up for the chop by revealing their nominations to each other.

HIRA GETS BIG BROTHER BOOT

Big Brother housemate Hira became the latest contestant booted off the reality show.

The fashion designer from Dublin was left open-mouthed as host Davina McCall announced she had been evicted last night.

After sharing hugs with her fellow contestants she made her way out of the house mouthing to herself: “They hate me, they hate me.”

But she emerged to a friendly crowd which despite a smattering of boos, cheered her as she posed for the waiting press.

All of the housemates had faced eviction last night, due to rule breaking over nominations.

Hira said she had been worried about the reception she would receive from the crowd on her eviction.

She told McCall: “I really had my fears about people hating me.”

The self-styled “half-vegetarian” said she had got on with all her housemates.

She explained: “I have no feelings of anger. I liked them, they’ve all been very nice to me.”

But she did admit she believed Marcus had not been her biggest fan.

Hira looked hugely embarrassed as she was played a medley of the singing that she had entertained the house with.

When asked how she rated her warbling, she gave herself a thumbs-down sign.

She backed Brazilian Rodrigo to win the show.

EVICTION THREAT TO ALL BB HOUSEMATES

All of the Big Brother housemates face eviction this week, due to rule-breaking over nominations, the show announced today.

Marcus and Siavash both broke “fundamental” regulations, Big Brother said.

While housemates were waiting to nominate in the Diary Room, moaning Marcus repeatedly told housemates that he would not mind leaving this week.

Marcus’s premeditated and repeated attempt to influence nominations breaks a fundamental rule of Big Brother, the show said.

When Big Brother asked Siavash for his first nomination, he told Big Brother that he was refusing to nominate this week.

Despite being warned that this would have consequences, Siavash left the Diary Room without giving any nominations.

A statement from the show said: “As a number of the housemates have blatantly disregarded such a fundamental rule, Big Brother has decided it should be left to the public to decide who they want in the house .”

Viewers will vote for those they want to save from the chop, and the contestant with the least amount will leave on Friday.

MARCUS AND NOIRIN FACE EVICTION VOTE

Femme fatale Noirin will go head-to-head with Marcus in tonight’s Big Brother eviction vote.

If the Irish beauty gets the boot, her time with ex-boyfriend Isaac Stout, who joined the show on Wednesday, will be short.

From the moment he entered the house, the 23-year-old entertainer and bar owner from Ohio in the United States embarked on a mission to rekindle their relationship, later telling her “Daddy’s back”.

Noirin, 25, who has been sharing kisses with fellow contestant Siavash, fell back into Isaac’s arms and told him: “I’m really sorry I made a mistake.”

But while the American’s arrival has left Siavash out in the cold, it may have helped to heal his rift with hirsute window fitter Marcus, who has an unrequited affection for Noirin.

Noirin and Isaac met two years ago while she was travelling in Australia and he appeared on the reality show The Real World: Sydney.

Big Brother contestant Noirin’s ex-boyfriend will see if he can win back her heart – when he enters the house today.

New housemate Isaac Stout, 23, is said to be still in love with Noirin.

There has previously been speculation that the entertainer and bar owner from Ohio in the United States would make a “surprise” entrance on the show.

He appeared on the reality show The Real World: Sydney two years ago.

During the filming for that programme, Isaac met and started a relationship with Noirin, 25, who was travelling in Australia at the time.

Although the couple have broken up, Noirin has mentioned Isaac while in the house.

But Isaac’s time with Noirin may be short – as earlier this week the rest of the housemates nominated Noirin and Marcus for the chop this Friday.

Viewers can catch the first glimpses of the pair’s reunion on Big Brother’s Little Brother at 6pm tomorrow on E4, as well as catching the action on Channel 4’s Big Brother at 10pm.

BIG BROTHER HOUSEMATES CELEBRATE CRAIG’S LIFE STORY

A galaxy of Big Brother housemates past and present turned out to celebrate the launch of the first winner’s autobiography.

Craig Phillips won the first series of the reality show in 2000, and last night threw a glittering party in Liverpool to launch My Story: Building Beyond Big Brother.

Phillips paid homage to his day job as a property developer by turning up in a builder’s van and was pushed up the red carpet in a wheelbarrow by his friend, actor Ricky Tomlinson, dressed for the occasion in a hard hat and fluorescent jacket over a ripped string vest.

He was accompanied by last year’s Big Brother winner, schoolteacher Rachel Rice, and 7th series winner Pete Bennett.

Other guests at the Sir Thomas Hotel included his fellow housemate from the first series, former nun-turned journalist Anna Nolan, BB6 winner Anthony Hutton and blind ninth series runner-up Mikey Hughes.

Phillips, 37, said he was overwhelmed by the number of supporters who had turned out. Explaining the reason for writing his life story, he said: “When I first came out of the house so many people asked me about doing a book.

“I felt like I didn’t have enough to talk about until now and all of a sudden I woke up one morning and thought I’ve done over 800 TV shows, I’ve been round the world, I’ve got my own production company… I’ve got this wonderful honour of being successful in my own right.”

He said other ex-housemates regularly sought his advice on life after the house.

“The key to my success is that I had a building trade before Big Brother.

“A lot of the housemates say to me, ’What’s the key to staying in the public eye?’.

“I say, ’Hard work, honesty and perhaps if you’ve got a trade and something to offer for the industry’.”

Former housemates overwhelmingly revealed that their favourites in the current series were Siavash and Halfwit. Newcomer Bea was also popular.

Rice, 28, said she loved the show and wanted either Siavash, Halfwit or Bea to win. She said: “I wasn’t too fussed on Kenneth, but I believe he left.”

Hutton, who is now studying to be a hairdresser, revealed he was a fan of Siavash but was rooting for fellow Geordie Charlie. He said: “If either of those two win I’ll be happy.”

And Bennett, who has Tourettes syndrome, said: “I love Siavash and Halfwit, I’m tied between the two of them. Kenny made me feel uncomfortable to watch.”

He revealed his band, Pete Bennett and The Lovedogs were releasing a single soon called Superheroes. He also said he indulged his love of green spandex by wearing it while cavorting round on Brighton Beach.

Mohamed Mohamed, aka Mo Mo, from BB9, was also at the bash.

He said BB had “opened a lot of doors for me” and revealed he would soon be presenting a show on Ben TV which he described as a “T4 type of thing”.

His fellow housemate Lisa Appleton, 41, revealed she too was working on her autobiography.

Appleton, who is soon to marry fellow housemate Mario Marconi in a wedding which will be featured in a celebrity magazine, said: “I want Halfwit to win, he’s so down to earth and funny, he makes me laugh, he’s interesting, he keeps you wanting to watch the show whereas some of them are boring.

“You’ve really got to be yourself, it’s a reality show and all this game playing the public see through, it shows and its just not interesting.”

11 HOUSEMATES FACING BIG BROTHER BOOT

All but two of the Big Brother housemates are to face possible eviction this week.

The failure of a secret mission to ensure that Noirin and Halfwit were nominated for eviction has meant that new housemates Tom, David, Hira, Bea and Kenneth will all face the public vote on Friday.

If no rule-breaking had taken place, Charlie and Lisa would be joining the five on Eviction Row as they were the two who received the most nominations.

But, because six of the original housemates broke the rules by talking about the nominations, Big Brother decided to punish them by putting them all up for eviction.

Only Lisa and Rodrigo escaped punishment as they did not break the rules.

Big Brother has decided that, due to their good behaviour, they will not be facing the humiliation of Friday’s vote.

Despite the large number facing eviction, only one of the contestants will be leaving the house.

HOUSEMATES SUSPICIOUS OVER NEW ARRIVALS

The Big Brother housemates raised their suspicions about the new arrivals’ “secret mission” today.

During a moment of reflection on the altered dynamics, Dogface told Halfwit how the latest additions appeared to know things about them.

“I don’t mind that,” Halfwit said. “It takes the pressure off.

“We know more about living in this place than they do.

“If there are game plans, they will show themselves.”

Not knowing about the five new housemates’ plot to get Halfwit and Noirin nominated to avoid their own eviction, Dogface replied: “I think they are on a secret mission though, don’t you?

“When you ask them about it they are like…’nothing, nothing’.”

She told Halfwit – who said it would be “really interesting” if Dogface was proved right – she wanted to find out what the mission was.

“I’ll inform you,” she added.

After entering the house on Friday, the new housemates were told they would all face the public vote this week unless they managed to get retail manager Noirin and entrepreneur Halfwit nominated instead.
